Friends of Lawrence Area Trails is a nonprofit organization devoted developing, promoting and maintaining a robust and vibrant trails system in Douglas County. Board members wanted to make updates to their old website but found that their options were limited by their WordPress theme. They hired me in 2020 to help solve this problem. I designed and built a new WordPress website with flexible content areas on the homepage, a calendar of events, a donations page, an online store to sell merchandise, a variety of templates to use on internal pages, and an admin section with clear instructions on how to make updates to each page.
